Jennifer Kerper’s designs are hand-fabricated, piece by piece, not cast in bulk. Traditional metalsmithing techniques are employed to morph precious metal into finished wearable objects. Pieces begin as raw wire and sheet and are drawn to gauge, hand- cut, patterned using hand tools, rolling mills and acid etching, hand-formed, hard-soldered, and wheel-polished to completion.
