Authentik Byrek is a food truck that provides a variety of handmade baked savory pie called “BYREK” for lunch and dinner. This type of pie is found in the cuisines of the former Ottoman Empire (present day Turkey). It is also known as Burek, Börek or Spanakopita throughout different countries of the Balkan region. These pastries are made with several layers of dough, known as Phyllo-dough that have been thinly rolled out by hand and filled with a combination of vegetables, cheeses and meats.
